A complete redesign of the existing Rovers Magazine website using a WordPress, a theme, and a child theme, and several plugins. The previous site was just a landing page, contact page, and a page that contained a PDF viewer of the current issue.
The goal of the redesign was to increase SEO/SEM scores, traffic, and customer interaction by uploading all the articles individually to a WordPress blog and allow comments.

Rovers Magazine Homepage
This is the website when it was launched in 2013. It was created by the previous web designer as a quick way to share the print magazine on the web.
This new site was launched in 2016. The focus of the redesign was to have a SEO friendly site that people could easily use on a desktop or mobile device.
Rovers Magazine Article
The old website used a plugin to show just the current PDF of the magazine. This meant there was no archive of past magazines and in terms of SEO the page scored nearly zero because there was no content to crawl.
On the new site, every article is uploaded as its own post in a category for each magazine edition. This allows customers to view older articles, comment/share articles, and when it comes to SEO content is crawlable.
Post Relaunch Analytics
SEO / SEM
Before the redesign there were only three pages being crawled by search engines, and there was only a single paragraph of text on the entire site. Now there are over 400 properly formed pages indexed by search engines.
New user traffic is up over 300%, and overall traffic is up by 200%. On top of the traffic increase, the overall average time on the site is up from 21 seconds to over 3 minutes.
